Stadium Drive Neighborhood

Our first home on Stadium Drive has been completed, and is now home to a great family!  If you have a moment, drop by and take a look.

The WCHfH work at Stadium Drive is a three house project, with the first house recently completed and transfered to the partner family.  We would like to complete the other two Stadium Drive Houses by the end of 2010.  We need assistance, both money and volunteers, for these two.  The first home was sponsored by Diamond Jacks Casino.  Also in 2006, Diamond Jacks Casino donated the largest donation in WCHfH’s history to support our mission of working with low income families to build with them and help them buy quality, affordable homes in Vicksburg - Warren County.  We also partnered with The Home Depot for 1009 Stadium Dr.

WCHfH and the partner families greatly appreciate the volunteer spirit and efforts of all our Stadium Drive sponsors and volunteers.

Other opportunities to assist WCHfH include the development of property on Wood Street.  The Wood Street land was donated a few years ago by Ed & Jeanette Cox.  The tract of land on Wood Street will accommodate multiple homes; however, it is heavily wooded and will require extensive site preparation.
